If you haven’t met Dim and his little boy yet, we must introduce you. The proud cyclist father and his 2-year-old share videos biking through Scotland. Dim set up a handlebar and a seat on the front of his bicycle to take his son along. He’s recorded their rides for more than six months and shared them with millions of people on social media. Each time the pair go for a ride, the toddler very sweetly says, “Daddy,” before asking a question or making an observation along the way. Dim and his son have captured the hearts of so many people who look forward to the short social media clips.

Dim and His Son Spend Quality Time Together While Biking
The rides are a great way for Dim to get exercise and for his toddler to see the world. Together they’ve learned about the Earth and so many species of plants and animals. They’ve experienced the elements, and the little boys even taken a few naps while his father bikes. The videos Dim shares are a sweet reminder that childhood is fleeting and parents need to soak up every moment with their children while they can.
In one of Dim’s videos, with more than 60 million views, he shares a compilation of six months’ work of bike rides. We learn that the little boy is ready to learn to bike on his own, but neither Dim nor his followers are quite ready.
“When he said ‘I want baby bicycle’ it made me tear up sad and proud at the same time,” a follower wrote.
This person agreed. “Do not get the baby bicycle!!!! He will think he can grow up after that!!!! Then they actually start growing up!!!!!! It’s a trap do not do it!!!!” They wrote.
Another commenter told Dim to let his young son know there are no baby bikes available.
“Hi baby bike supplier here! Here to inform you we’re actually all sold out for forever and ever,” they wrote. “Tell the little guy we’re sorry.”
Thank you, Dim, for sharing this journey with us. We can’t wait to see where you two go on your adventures biking side by side.
