Diner With Cerebral Palsy Was Struggling To Eat, Waiter’s Selfless Act Of Kindness Stuns Entire Restaurant.

Lee Bondurant and his mom Linda were out for dinner at the 42nd St. Oyster Bar in Garner, NC when a wonderful act of kindness unfolded before their eyes. Lee suffers from Cerebral Palsy and has lost everything but the fine motor skills in his hands. Linda was spending most of her time at the table feeding her son, only sneaking a bite in for herself every few minutes, when a waiter, named Five, respectfully approached and offered his assistance.

“He casually came over and asked Lee if he had ever had oysters,” Linda recalled. “Lee told him he had not. So, Five asked if he could he serve him his first. It was smooth not to embarrass Lee. Just offering to share in the experience.”

And so, bite by bite, Five fed 51-year-old Lee by the spoonful, giving Linda a chance to finish her meal. Linda snapped this photo posted it to Facebook with the caption below.

Five’s act of kindness has gone viral for all the right reasons.

“When you dine at 42nd Street Oyster Bar please ask for a server by the name of “FIVE” (a college student) He saw me trying to eat and help Lee,” she wrote. “He insisted on helping showing Lee total respect. Let’s me know there are still decent and compassionate people left in our country. Pay it forward for FIVE!”
