LeBron James Hilariously Mortifies His Daughter With Celebratory Dad Dance At The Olympics

LeBron James may be one of the greatest basketball players of all time, but the 39-year-old is just a goofy dad at heart. He and his wife, Savannah, share three kids, Bronny, 19, Bryce, 17, and a 9-year-old daughter, Zhuri. LeBron loves his kids, and when they’re together, he’s not a superstar athlete—he’s embarrassing the heck out of them like any other pop would.

He was caught on camera on August 1 cheering for Team USA during a sand volleyball match, much to Zhuri’s chagrin. On Her Turf shared a video on X calling LeBron “Peak girl dad energy,” and their observation is on point. By the looks of his summer Olympics dance moves, we wouldn’t be surprised if LeBron James is a secret Swiftie.

As her dad howls for Team USA and throws his hands in the air like he just doesn’t care, Zhuri buries her face in her hands. It’s a sweet father-daughter moment that is painfully familiar and so darn endearing.

LeBron is in Paris playing basketball for Team USA and supports as many Americans as possible. The beach volleyball game took place in the rain, but that didn’t stop the family from cheering on Kristen Nuss and Taryn Kloth in a match against China. He’s a fan and a dad. You can’t separate the two.

Of course, the moment went viral, and fans love LeBron and Zhuri.

“That’s crazy. Her dad is literally one of the most famous people and she’s embarrassed,” someone pointed out.

To Zhuri, he’s not a celeb he’s just Dad. “That’s the thing about kids, you can be a superstar but to your kids, you are an embarrassing dork.”

This person thinks LeBron’s got it down.

“If she got embarrassed, it just means he’s doing his Dad job right!”
