There is no stronger bond than the love between a parent and a child.
When Bailey Sellers was 16 years old, her father passed away from cancer. She didn’t know it at first, but he had set up special birthday surprises for her before he went. For the next 5 years she received flowers and a handwritten card from him.
Then on the last delivery, her 21st birthday, she shared the sweet gift with Twitter.

“…this is my 21st birthday flowers and the last. Miss you so much daddy,” reads the Tweet, which also includes 3 photos: one of a gorgeous bouquet of purple flowers, another of Bailey and her dad from when she was younger, and one showing the card included with the flowers.

Prepare yourself, the card will undoubtedly make you cry.
“This is my last love letter to you until we meet again. I do not want you to shed another tear for me baby girl for I am in a better place. You are and will always be the most precious jewel I was given. It is your 21st birthday and I want you to always respect your momma and stay true to yourself. Be happy and live life to the fullest. I will still be with you through every milestone, just look around and there I will be.”

While it’s heartbreaking that Bailey lost her father so young, it’s clear his love for her knew no bounds.

Although his flowers and notes will stop after this year, we’re sure Bailey’s dad will be with her in spirit on all of her future birthdays…and all days.
