Landlubber Builds 38-Ft Sailboat From Scratch And Now 1000s Are Watching.

Steve Dennett works on the Arabella

Life’s too short to put off passion projects!

Steve Denette grew up on a family farm in Granby, Massachusetts, a town about 90 miles west of Boston, surrounded by towering hardwood trees. In 2016, he decided to fell several trees to make a very special project: a 38-foot wooden sailboat he named Arabella. He had plans drawn up and started documenting construction on a YouTube channel called Acorn To Arabella.

With zero experience and very little money, Steve was sure his early viewers watched purely to see him fail. But as time went on, his YouTube following kept expanding. Now, he’s got well over 100,000 subscribers who are invested in seeing him accomplish his goal of launching the ship next June and sailing around the world!

Watch the video below to learn more about this incredible passion project, and don’t forget to share.
