Country music star Lainey Wilson put on a stunning show during tonight’s People’s Choice Awards, and fans are sending her words of praise on social media.
The singer and all-around-fan-favorite-person is at the ceremony tonight thanks to two nominations, Female Artist of the Year and Female Country Artist of the Year. Because she’s coming off a hugely successful year, she was also one of the chosen few asked to take the stage and microphone.
Since breaking into music, Lainey has won an astounding five CMA Awards in 2023—including Entertainer of the Year. She also took home a Grammy for Best Country Album on Feb. 4 for Bell Bottom Country.
Tonight, she gave fans a truly Western performance of Country’s Cool Again, which comes from her Grammy-winning record. The crowd erupted with her signature Southern twang voice and energy. After she walked away, they took to X to share their thoughts.
