Parting with an animal is one of the toughest things that pet owners have to do. Jason and Kylie Kelce have just lost their first dog and it’s majorly tugging on my heartstrings!
Kylie took to Instagram to share some important and powerful words about Winnie. She was a totally adorable Irish wolfhound, and we love seeing these clips of her exploring life.
Kylie shared the story of why she and Jason Kelce adopted the dog breed in her post’s caption.
“When I was in high school I had a folder on my desktop labeled ‘God’s gift to earth,'” Kylie began. “It was images of Irish wolfhounds that I had collected from Google.”
“I had fallen in love with the breed when I was young and never let my fascination with them fade,” she continued. “It all led me to Winnie and holy s**t did she live up to the hype. She was everything I had hoped for in a wolfie and more.”
Winnie even attended their wedding! How precious is this pup?
We’re so sorry for the Kelce’s loss. Winnie seemed like a fantastic dog, and mourning an animal is one of the hardest things on Earth to do.
