A group called Koolulam encourages people from all walks of life to come together to sing. Believing that “where there is creation, there is hope,” the social initiative urges people to “leave their comfort zones” to make music and art. Yet when COVID-19 forced people into quarantine worldwide, they found a new way to use music to unify and strengthen our social bonds.
In the video above, 5,000 people from 66 countries joined forces to sing “Fix You” by Coldplay. It’s an incredibly diverse glimpse into the sweet ways people are trying to stay connected through difficult times. They’ve also interspersed the song with inspirational messages to remind us that we’re all in this together!
