You’d be surprised by how much human babies and cats have in common. There’s the more obvious connection in that they’re both insanely adorable, of course. But my absolute favorite way that these two creatures are oddly connected is through their unfaltering love of boxes. No matter what else there is to keep them entertained, it seems like a good ole-fashioned cardboard box is always the preferred option.

Stacy, who goes by stacy_no_e on TikTok, was reminded of this when she and her cat, Sumo, began playing an interesting game together. Although we have no idea how this got started, it’s certainly not surprising. In a video capturing one of their games, we see that Sumo is snug inside a Rice Krispie Treat box.
As soon as Sumo is plopped out of the box and onto the couch, he rushes back over to the empty box that’s been tossed onto the floor. Once he’s back inside, this cycle continues until Sumo or his humans tire of the game. Though, let’s be honest: Sumo could probably do this all day.
