If you’ve ever watched America’s Got Talent, odds are, you’re familiar with the incredible Kodi Lee. He won in 2019 and has been in various spin-offs of the show over the years, including the current one called AGT: Fantasy League. In order to make it to the finals, Kodi has poured his heart out into performances of original songs. This includes a particularly touching one about his mom, Tina.
But with the guidance of his new mentor, Howie Mandel, Kodi went a different direction this week. Rather than singing an original song, this talented musician sang the classic Queen song Bohemian Rhapsody. This song has been covered many times, but none have pulled off an emotional version quite like Kodi’s.

While Queen’s version is rock and roll perfection, Kodi’s piano rendition gives the song a uniquely haunting feel. Just like with his original songs, Kodi delivers each line with the emotion needed to give the audience chills.
Although the judges took note of how much they enjoy when he performs a Kodi Lee original, it’s clear that his twist on a Queen classic is a total hit! There’s certainly no doubt that Freddie Mercury would have been proud.
