The long-awaited reunion has finally happened. Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet have met their grandfather, King Charles, in what was likely an emotional moment for everyone. According to People, Buckingham Palace confirmed the meeting, though we likely won’t receive any more details. The meeting between King Charles and his grandchildren was private, and it’s unlikely we will see any photos from the reunion. The meeting marks the first time the children have seen their grandfather in four years.

King Charles Hadn’t Seen His Grandchildren Since June 2022
The last time Prince Harry brought his children to the United Kingdom was in 2022. At the time, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet were very young, and it’s unlikely they will even remember. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to the United States in 2020 to raise their children after formally stepping back from their royal duties.
Per The Sun, Meghan Markle did not attend the meeting between King Charles and his grandchildren. Though Prince Harry’s wife and children traveled to the UK to be with him, they will not attend any public events.
King Charles meeting his grandchildren could mark the beginning of a much-anticipated reunion for Prince Harry and the rest of his family. It’s unclear whither his brother, Prince William, will see Prince Harry or any of the rst of his family during his time in the UK.
