It’s been a tumultuous time in Hollywood, with a writer’s strike followed by a SAG/AFTRA strike. Both strikes have resolved, and it’s time for celebration. Kevin Bacon is celebrating in style — Footloose style!
He took to Instagram a week ago to celebrate the end of the strikes.
Kevin posted a clip of him dancing to the titular song of Footloose, captioned, “Strike over!”
His celebration is well-deserved. The SAG strikes were a difficult time for performers, barring actors from work until the contracts were amended to be fair.
Kevin’s moves were a wonderful bookend to a difficult chapter. Folks in the comment section exploded with cheer in celebration!
“It pleases me to no end that you embrace and provide so joyfully what brings the rest of us such happiness. Thank you for this, and all you do, Mr. Bacon,” shared fellow actor, Nathan Fillion.
