It’s a milestone every parent anticipates with both excitement and dread: the day their child leaves the nest to start their own lives.
For Kenneth Mohammed, that bittersweet moment came this year when he dropped his son Nasir off at Georgia’s Valdosta State University. While the 18-year-old was ready to experience the freedom of college life, his sweet dad couldn’t help but break down at the thought of letting him go!
“Nas has been with me pretty much his whole life,” Kenneth wrote on Facebook. “He’s never really been away from me … I love him and I’m gonna miss him!”
