Kelly Osbourne Finds Healing In New Hobby After Losing Her Dad

Kelly Osbourne Ozzy Osbourne

It’s been more than a month since Ozzy Osbourne passed away, and it still seems unreal to those who loved him. Family, friends, and fans mourned the Prince of Darkness’ passing, but found solace in the fact that he was able to perform one last time. His piercing rendition of Mama, I’m Coming Home during his July 5 Back to the Beginning concert in Birmingham, England, touched the hearts of millions and was a fitting way for Ozzy to let us all know he was going to be just fine. Kelly Osbourne took her time processing the loss of her father and best friend and spoke out in an Instagram story in early August. At the time, she explained how hard it was for her to express her feelings of both grief and gratitude.

“The love, support, and beautiful messages I’ve received from so many of you have truly helped carry me through the hardest moment of my life. Every kind word, every shared memory, every bit of compassion has meant more than I can ever explain,” she wrote in part.

Kelly Osbourne Found A New Passion Since Ozzy Osbourne’s Death

In the weeks since Ozzy Osbourne passed away, Kelly Osbourne has taken time for herself to heal. She shared on her Instagram stories that she’s been able to find joy in a new hobby.

“In all my sadness & grief I have found something that truly makes me happy,” Kelly wrote. “I never thought I would find my smile again through falconry but I did. I absolutely love being with the birds!”

And while this is a sad time in her life, there will be plenty of good days ahead. Kelly Osbourne and her longtime boyfriend, Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson, got engaged on July 5 with Ozzy Osbourne front and center. He may not be there for the big day, but sharing the special moment with his daughter and fiancé will certainly live in her heart forever.
