The original American Idol winner, Kelly Clarkson remains a staple of the music business for a reason. Simply put, she’s an incredibly gifted singer who continues to leave her mark on the pop music world.
Therefore, it’s no surprise that Clarkson can take a Christmas classic like “Silent Night” and make it her own. Even if Clarkson sang a solo rendition, it would certainly be special.
However, Clarkson had a surprise in store for her audience.
As Clarkson, clad in a beautiful red dress, completed the first verse of “Silent Night,” a mysterious figure arrived on stage.
Suddenly, none other than country music great Trisha Yearwood stepped into the spotlight.
It’s hard not to break out into chills as you listen to these talented women sing together, with Trisha crooning the second verse and Kelly offering backing vocals.
But there was still one more surprise remaining — Reba McEntire!
Reba sang the third verse with Kelly, and Trisha offered flawless supporting vocals. Just like that, the audience was gifted with a wonderful treat as the three women united to make their “Silent Night” performance one to remember.
We can only hope these three talented music veterans surprise us with more magical performances in the near future.
