Performing on street corners, buskers are bound to meet all kinds of interesting folks, including celebrities from time to time. Still, I have a feeling it’s much more rare for those celebrities to sing along with them — but that’s exactly what happened to a busker in Las Vegas. Best of all? She didn’t even recognize the star at first!
Luckily, we get to witness this magical moment because the singing sensation herself, Kelly Clarkson, shared it on TikTok. While on the way to soundcheck for her Vegas residency, Clarkson came across a busker belting out an iconic Tina Turner song. After she tipped the woman, Clarkson was asked if she wanted to sing. At this point, the busker had no clue who she was talking to.
Once Clarkson began to flawlessly sing, however, it didn’t take long for the busker to realize who was performing right in front of her. We see the two of them interact from a distance, but it’s clear the moment she figures it out, prompting her to give Clarkson a hug.
“… and it made my day!” Clarkson wrote on TikTok. “She gives the best hugs and sings her tail off!”
