Princess Kate, as always, dressed to impress, but her outfit choice for this day made a particularly big statement. For the first time, Kate Middleton wore the 30 Montaigne Rose Des Vents Bar Jacket from beloved French designer Christian Dior’s 2024 collection. Her choice served as a nod to the French president and his wife while also paying tribute to beloved Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana.

Christian Dior Has Long Dressed The Royal Family, But This Was A First For Kate Middleton

According to People, Princess Diana often wore Christian Dior and served as a muse for the fashion house. In addition to her Christian Dior jacket, Kate Middleton also wore a hate by Jess Collett. She also chose sentimental accessories like Princess Diana’s earrings and Queen Elizabeth’s pearl necklace.

Prince William and Kate Middleton shared photos of the visit on Instagram. “A pleasure to welcome Président @emmanuelmacron and Mrs. Macron to Windsor today,” the caption reads.

Royal enthusiasts loved seeing the photos, and many keyed in on Kate Middleton’s Christian Dior clothing.
