After a lifetime of service, this dog deserved a celebration. At Lyka’s K9 retirement ceremony, she got to make one final “find,” discovering what’s within a bag of seemingly contraband. But this bag wasn’t full of anything troublesome. Instead, she found dozens of tennis balls!

Lyka the Police Dog deserved a celebration, and she certainly got one. When she found all the tennis balls, she absolutely freaked out! It was epic.

“This made me smile. A dog retirement ceremony. I’m glad you were able to adopt her,” commented another, noting that Officer Michael was able to bring Lyka home permanently. She is 11-years-old and has been serving for many years of her life, so it’s time to relax!
