Johnathan Scott and his twin, Drew Scott, make up the HGTV dynamic duo, The Property Brothers. They help couples find, buy, and remodel their dream homes. But it doesn’t happen by luck. It takes a lot of time, commitment, and planning. So does a wedding. But that’s not quite happening for Johnathan Scott and his fiancée of two years, Zooey Deschanel. Johnathan recently joked with Us Weekly about his upcoming nuptials.

“We don’t have any updates yet,” Johnathan said about his wedding. “Yeah, we are the worst at planning that. We’re great at planning other parties.”
Johnathan Scott Took Some Ribbing From His Twin
Drew Scott took the opportunity to tease Johnathan Scott about his lack of wedding planning.
“You don’t have time for a wedding, you’re throwing Halloween parties. You’re on Habitat for Humanity builds,” Drew said.
Johnathan agreed that being part of Habitat for Humanity means a lot to him.
“Habitat is not just gifting houses. Habitat is working alongside homeowners to build their own home, and then those same homeowners pitch in to build their neighbor’s home and the whole community,” Johnathan Scott said. “So this is a remarkable organization that really stretches those dollars around. But for the build site, when you walk on here, you don’t have to have any experience at all. You can just show up and there’s something for everybody to do.”
Zooey and Johnathan announced their engagement on Instagram in August 2023. Zooey showed off a stunning ring with the caption, “Forever starts now!!”
Fans immediately shared well-wishes for the couple.
“Congratulations to the couple. Best wishes. May God always bless your lives,” a fan wrote.
“Congratulations and many blessings,” another person wished.
We know Johnathan Scott and Zooey Deschanel will have the perfect wedding when the time is right.
