John Ritter’s Son Jason Nails Impersonation Of Dad’s Iconic “Three’s Company” Schtick

John Ritter Son

John Ritter was one-of-a-kind. His hilarious comedic timing and incredible physical comedy made Three’s Company an iconic sitcom. John won a Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe in 1984 for portraying Jack Tripper as a single man with two female roommates. When John passed away in September 2003, just days shy of his 55th birthday, the comedy world lost one of the best.

John’s Son Channeled His Dad’s Energy

Jason Ritter was in his early twenties when his dad passed away, but he seems to have learned a lot from the master during his life. John’s body could move and shake like no one else’s, and his facial expressions were second to none. It seems Jason inherited his dad’s unique talents. Plus, the two look strikingly similar. Jason recently did an impression of his dad from Three’s Company, which was truly incredible.

Someone posted on TikTok, “Can you do the creep face your dad used to do chasing the girls around the apartment on 3’s company? That was always my favorite thing,” and Jason happily obliged.

He asked, “Is it this one?” and began to move his mouth and his eyes in a way that only his dad could do. For nine seconds, it was as if John was back in the apartment, looking to dodge Mr. Roper as Janet and Chrissy pretended he wasn’t there.

Fans Loved Jason’s Take On His Dad’s Classic Bit

One wrote, “Core memory unlocked.”

This person doesn’t realize who Jason is until he makes the face. “I didn’t look at your name, but as soon as you did that I knew you were John Ritter’s son. Plus you look so much like him.”

Another fan let him know that people love him and his dad equally. “Awwww Jason, please know we loved your dad but we love you for you just the same! Thank you for humoring us. I’m looking forward to starting Matlock this weekend!!!”

This person left a beautiful memory: “I was born and raised in LA, a daughter of Mexican immigrants. We only spoke Spanish at home. But I watched 3s Co. bc John Ritter transcended language. He brought joy to us as a family, even though we didn’t fully understand the language. To this day, he’s the only celeb I’ve cried for at their death. He keeps me laughing on Pluto TV. May he be resting in paradise.”

Jason responded, “I love this so much… thank you for sharing this with me!!”
