For the past three years, John and Scarlett have shared a deep love. Both of them have Down syndrome, and they met while living at a group home for adults with special needs.
With help from their caregivers, Scarlett and John recently held a commitment ceremony to celebrate their unbreakable bond surrounded by their friends and family.
“Scarlett laughs with glee when John does his Elvis impressions and John dotes on Scarlett as if they’ve been together for a lifetime,” their friend Mike said.
