Jennifer Garner Shares Hilarious Series Of Photos Of Her Crying Throughout Daughter’s Graduation

Jennifer Garner claps as she holds back tears

There are so many milestones to celebrate as a parent. One of the biggest, of course, is the moment your child graduates from high school. Although it may seem like that day will never come, people often say that it does arrive in the blink of an eye. Actor Jennifer Garner can officially attest to this — her daughter, Violet, recently graduated herself! At 18 years old, Violet is Garner’s oldest child — her other kids are Fin (15) and Samuel (12). As you can imagine, this made graduation all-the-more emotional for the actor.

Best of all, Garner isn’t afraid to share just how much of a rollercoaster this week has been for her. In a series of photos on Instagram, she documents all of the bittersweet moments she experienced, all of which include her crying. In fact, the crying seems to have started well before the actual graduation. One slide includes a short video clip of Garner on a plane, presumably on her way to the ceremony.

“Tell me you have a graduate without telling me you have a graduate,” Garner captions her post, finding the humor in this emotional week. “Bless our hearts.”

Through all of the tears shed, it’s clear Garner couldn’t be more excited for Violet as she starts this new chapter in her life. This is a sentiment that many parents share, and fans of the actor are loving the chance to commiserate in the comments of her relatable post.
