Barbara Bush Sent a Letter Scolding Jenna Bush and Her Father

Jenna Bush explained that she and George W. Bush received a letter in the mail from Barbara Bush condemning their unsportsmanlike behavior at the tennis match. She added that she wasn’t a child when this happened, be a parent herself.

“My grandfather really believed in sportsmanship, like being really kind and humble and all those things. I think my behavior rubbed my grandmother the wrong way, so she wrote me a letter,” Jenna said.

She explained that Barbara Bush sent a copy to Jenna nd George. When the former first daughter called her dad, he had the best response possible. He told her not to worry about it; he thought it was hilarious.

“And then it said, ‘P.S. Throw this letter away and don’t tell anybody about it.’”

Jenna then looked at the camera and said, “Oops!”

Fans loved the story and the way Jenna Bush Hager tells all the dirt.

“so W was still being scolded by his mom, even after he achieved the highest office in the land,” one shared on TikTok. “I love this family so much.”
