Nervous Teen Overcomes Fear To Deliver Moving “Australia’s Got Talent” Performance.

There is often a significant difference between a performer and a musician. While performers may have musical talent, they are better known for their stage presence. Musicians, on the other hand, don’t have to put on crazy shows because their talent speaks for itself.

Jayden Appleby definitely falls into the second category. When he appeared on “Australia’s Got Talent,” he was racked by nerves, but he proved once again that nothing can overshadow pure art!

When the 17-year-old took the stage for his audition, he revealed that he’d never performed for such a large audience before. He also admitted that he was extremely nervous, and his body language backed him up.

But the moment the judges asked him why he decided to sing “All I Want” by Kodaline, everyone’s hearts started breaking. Jayden shared that he hasn’t had the easiest childhood. He doesn’t have a great relationship with his mom and has moved “in and out” of living with both his parents.

That’s why music is so important to him. It’s given him an escape from his difficult circumstances – and an opportunity to make everyone proud. And once he started singing, anyone who still had doubts about him became an instant fan!

His voice is, for lack of a better word, stunning! He put so much passion into his performance that he left the audience in tears.

When he finished, the four judges had only positive feedback to go along with their enthusiastic yeses! Shane Jacobson said it best: “Some people sing songs at people, and some people, like you, make people feel songs.”

Despite his initial nervousness, Jayden put on a powerful show that demonstrates just how moving talent can be. No matter how far he goes in the competition, we hope this was the first of many big performances for him!
