Joseph and Katharine Jackson moved into a 672-square-foot home in Gary, Indiana in 1950. Together, they raised nine children in that tiny home and turned them into some of the greatest performers of all time. The couple had seven sons Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, Brandon, Michael, and Randy. Sadly, Brandon, Marlon’s twin, died a short time after birth. The couple also had three daughters Rebbie, La Toya, and Janet Jackson. On May 29, the baby of the family, Janet, shared a special birthday message to her sisters who share the day six years apart.

Janet Jackson Stays Very Busy

Janet Jackson has spent much of her career making music and touring. Last summer, she hit the road with Nelly for her Together Again Tour. She’s currently in the middle of her Janet Jackson Las Vegas residency. And while she didn’t have a chance to see her sisters on their birthday, she wanted them to know how much she loves them.

La Toya made sure to thank her baby sister for the sweet message. “Thank you Jan for the birthday wishes I’ve been on the set working all day and just got home,” she wrote on Instagram. “By the way, I love your personal message. Love you sweetheart!”

Fans shared their admiration for the Jacksons’ parents.

“All I know is Mrs Katherine Jackson should get a special award for birthing such a beautiful and impactful family,” one wrote.

“When I say that Katherine and Joe did their big one when it came to procreating beauty everywhere,” this person agreed.

This person noticed the love in Janet Jackson’s message to her sisters. “love how you all love each other! We will never have an iconic legendary humble and loving family like you all! Love you Jan.”
