If you were alive in the 1980s, there’s a very good chance you would have watched your mother or another relative doing a home workout tape. Whether she was a Richard Simmons girl or more of the Jane Fonda type, those at-home aerobics videos kept millions of people in shape from the comfort of their own homes. Sadly, Richard Simmons passed away in July after years out of the public eye. But Jane Fonda is still alive and well and committed to fitness. She turned 87 on December 21, and her workout fans got the biggest gift. They can enjoy those routines once again, with a twist.

Jana Fonda Goes Virtual On Her Birthday
Ludacris shared a video on Instagram announcing his partnership with the queen of cardio. The video shows a very familiar-looking vibe from a land far, far away. Jane Fonda’s face appears, much to the delight of her fans. Ludacris captioned the video, “It’s a full circle moment. Growing up, I’d watch my mother sweat it out to @JaneFonda’s iconic VHS workout tapes. Now, I’m beyond honored to collaborate with the fitness icon herself in an all new workout series for @getsupernatural on @metaquest. We’re about to save you from your boring cardio routine. Ludacris and Jane Fonda together are a dream come true for this fan. It’s “the collab I didn’t know I needed.”
