9-Yr-Old Has Epic Remote Jam Session With 73-Yr-Old Grandpa.

Humans are creative by nature, so it’s no surprise that people are finding unique ways to stay connected during the COVID-19 outbreak.

James Gallagher, a 9-year-old from Dublin, Ireland, won’t let a little thing like quarantine keep him from pursuing music with the person he adores. That’s why he and his 73-year-old grandfather have come up with a new way to have some epic jam sessions!

Paul Browne loves performing with his grandson. While the two of them usually get together in person, during self-isolation they are using technology to their fullest advantage.

In a video Caroline Gallagher, James’ mom, uploaded to Twitter, we see the adorable pair rocking out to Queen’s “I Want To Break Free,” which seems like a relevant choice!

As James sings and plays his guitar, his grandpa accompanies him from the TV screen in the safety of his own home.

“Grandson and grandad want to break free in Dublin,”Caroline wrote, and we think they managed just fine!

The clip quickly went viral and is now being featured around the web as a shining example of unity and love in the face of social distancing.

“Exactly what we need during times like these!” one viewer wrote. Another added, “Love this. This makes you happy and smile.”

We couldn’t agree more! This is exactly the kind of innovation we hope to see more of. Even in the midst of uncertainty, there’s always hope and joy to be found. Thank you, Caroline, for sharing this wonderful moment with the world!
