Micah Smith doesn’t just like Mario… he absolutely loves him!

Much to mom Ashley Smith’s amusement, her 2-year-old son dresses up in a tiny Mario costume on an almost daily basis. He loves the video game character so much that when she was expecting her second child, she and her husband teased little Theo’s arrival by nicknaming him “Luigi.”

Ashley often shares videos of Micah dressed up as Mario, mustache and all, on her TikTok page. Her husband even gets in on the fun sometimes by putting on a man-sized green Luigi costume! The family definitely nurtures their little dude’s obsession, probably because it’s just too cute to listen to him talk in that exaggerated Italian accent.

Micah wears his pint-sized Mario costume just about everywhere, from Target runs to a stroll through the neighborhood. “It’s a vibe,” Ashley says of his choice of clothing.

As Ashley’s delivery date got closer, the family kicked their Mario and Luigi-themed welcome into high gear. A tiny Luigi costume was purchased, and they couldn’t wait to fill it with their newest bundle of joy. Micah was excited to meet his brother, but we’re pretty sure he really thought his new brother was going to be called Luigi!

In a new video, Ashley shared the moment when Micah finally got a chance to meet baby Theo. They’d put the baby in his Luigi outfit for the big moment, and Micah was instantly smitten. He was so excited to see his brother wearing the Luigi outfit that he had to run and get his Mario hat to perfect the moment!

“It’s-a me, Mario!” Micah tells his baby brother.

His family can’t stop grinning at the sweet little guy, and frankly, neither can we!

In another video, Ashley shared both boys wearing their costumes, and we haven’t still stopped swooning.

How cute are these brothers! Something tells us they’re going to be best buddies for life – just like Mario and Luigi.
