It Takes A Village: See The Heartwarming Support This New Mom Received From Friends, Family, And Neighbors.

New mom Amanda Wells found out who her friends are when people turned out in masses to help support her after becoming a new mom.

As all parents know, life with a newborn is beautiful—and exhausting. Babies are hungry at all hours, so sleep doesn’t come often. Sometimes, it doesn’t come at all. Meanwhile, moms are trying to recover from childbirth while learning to adjust to the new addition. So parents are always in need of a little support.

Amanda, a social media crafts influencer, got more support than she could have imagined after she brought home her newborn baby. During her first days of parenthood, dozens of people came to her home with food, gifts, love, and more.

Amanda caught the visits on her Ring doorbell camera. Overwhelmed with gratitude, she created a montage of those visits. Then she posted it on TikTok and gave praise to her “village.”

Cant thank them enough for coming together and helping us adjust to our new life as parents…and for all the food 😅#newborn #newbornlife #newparents #firsttimemom #village #sleepdeprived

“Cant thank them enough for coming together and helping us adjust to our new life as parents…and for all the food,” she captioned.

The post proves that people can show up for others in the most thoughtful and creative ways. Some of her friends and neighbors came by the leave groceries on her doorstep, others brought balloons and gifts.

There were several friends who stopped by to support the new mom with their time. One man even drove over to shovel Amanda’s sidewalk after a snowfall! There were also a few folks who put together some home-cooked meals for the family of three.
