Dad Accidentally Crashes 6-Yr-Old’s School Video With Hilarious Dance Moves.

It was a typical evening in Beaverton, Oregon, when 6-year-old Delaney Jones decided to record a message for her teacher.

Like many kids, she has been learning remotely during COVID-19. Her mom Jennifer said the little one really misses her teachers, so she often creates videos to let them know she’s thinking of them.

Jennifer was going through Seesaw, the app Delaney uses for her schoolwork, when she came across a clip that made her burst into gales of laughter.

As it turns out, her husband Isaac had made an appearance in one of Delaney’s school videos after mistaking it for one of the craft tutorials his daughter is also fond of making.

“Well…. I found this as a sent video from earlier today,” Jennifer wrote on Facebook. “I hope her teacher laughed as hard as I did…. How’s your distance learning going?”

In it, we see Delaney sitting down to explain a craft project to her teacher. She starts the session by asking Alexa to play Kidz Bop, and her dad simply couldn’t resist the beat of “Uptown Funk.”

As Delaney industriously glues and glitters in the foreground, Isaac pulls out epic dance moves we haven’t seen since the ’70s behind her! He puts his own spin on the robot and the sprinkler and even recruits some backup dancers!

Delaney seems totally unfazed by her goofy dad’s antics… until she mutters, “What is wrong with this family? I’m just trying to do peace and quiet art!”

How cute is this? We can only imagine how hard her teacher must have laughed when they saw this video. And they’re not the only ones! After Jennifer uploaded it to Facebook, the clip went viral.

As for Isaac, he took to his own Facebook page to thank everyone for their supportive comments.

“I personally got a kick out of seeing so many other dudes tagged by their loved ones who know they’d be dork’n out with their fam too when given the chance,” he wrote before adding some poignant advice for other dads.

Take these chances we get to make memories with your amazing kids, the miracles they are. It’s one of the best parts about being a parent. Because unlike from your professional life, as a parent, if you act like a fool the ones who matter actually admire you even more! What a relief right?

The awesome dad added that he’s glad to have “spread a little levity and distraction” during a tough year. We certainly appreciate the chance for a good laugh, so thank you, Isaac!
