Is Your Ex A Drag? Name A Worm After Him And Watch A Bat Eat It!

The Saco River Wildlife Center has made it their mission to provide care for orphaned, ill, and injured wildlife. For Valentine’s Day, however, they also aim to heal a few broken hearts. According to a video they shared on TikTok, for only $10, folks without a Valentine this year had the chance to get a worm named after their ex. This same worm would then be fed to one of their bats.

As silly as this may sound, it truly can be the perfect gift for someone who is heartbroken. Plus, it’s a fun way to help support an organization on a mission to help our animal friends!

“Bad breakup?” the wildlife writes. “Or maybe just long-lasting resentment? We’ve got you covered! This Valentine’s Day, we’re offering YOU the once in a lifetime chance to name a mealworm or fish after that ‘un-special’ someone.”

You don’t even need to be heartbroken yourself to get use out of this service. When someone asked if the purchase comes with a receipt so they can gift it to a friend, they got the perfect answer.

Name-A-Mealworm Certificate from the Saco River Wildlife Center. It reads:

This certificate proudly acknowledges that the following name was chosen for a meal worm and subsequently given to our patients as a delightful treat: Kyle.

Thank you for supporting Saco River Wildlife Center!

“Absolutely!!!” the wildlife writes. “We have more info on the form itself. It comes with a customized digital certificate.”

What a fantastic reminder that there’s no right or wrong way to celebrate Valentine’s Day!
