3 Young Boys Sing “You Raise Me Up” And Wow Crowd.

As a member of the South Korean boy band NCT Dream, Zhong Chenle has been entertaining crowds and making young girls’ hearts go pitty-pat for the last couple years. But he’s been wowing crowds much longer than that.

When he was just 11 years old, he and fellow singers Li Zewei, 11, and Liu Bo, 10, performed “You Raise Me Up” at the International Children’s Music Festival held in 2013 to ring in the new year.

Here he is back then:

And this is him now:

Wow. What a difference five years makes.

“Like for real?? It’s him?? Oh that’s why he looked so familiar,” noted one viewer. That’s the general consensus among everyone who watches the video.

Since its original release by Irish-Norwegian duo Secret Garden, “You Raise Me Up” has been covered countless times, with Josh Groban’s rendition by far the most popular, and is frequently sung during church services.

With all three boys dressed in white, this performance does have a church-like feel to it, especially when their voices join in an angel-like chorus toward the end of the song.

The audience simply can’t get enough of this talented trio. The look on this little girl’s face pretty much says it all: Adoration, pure and simple.
