After a lengthy hiatus, the Cheez-It mascot is back just in time for bowl season. No, not snack bowl, we’re talking football, friends.

Cheez-It Claims Ched-Z Encouraged Prince Cheddward To Return
You see, Ched-Z, the current Cheez-It mascot, wanted to get Prince Cheddward back in the game, and after lengthy negotiations, the prince accepted.

The Citrus Bowl official Instagram welcomed the mascot back with open arms.
