Back in 2019, the Paris Opera performed “Les Indes Galantes” at the Opéra Bastille – and moved thousands. Their take on Jean-Philippe Rameau’s French masterpiece mixes classical music with street dance, and while the combination may seem odd, it’s like they were meant to be together!
As one viewer aptly put it, “It is as if the music has been waiting for this dance, these dancers … for centuries!”
