Helen Mirren is a voice of truth on and off the stage. At the 2024 Oscars, the star was asked her opinion about Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig of Barbie getting snubbed.
Her response was totally genius.
“You can’t get upset about things like that honestly,” Helen Mirren began. “What is fantastic is that Barbie is the highest grossing film that Warner Brothers has ever had.”
Then, she posed an important question.
“Do you remember who won best film the year before last?”
Of course not. Point made, Helen Mirren! Point made.
Fans appreciated Helen Mirren’s wise opinion on the Barbie/Oscars snub.
