Heartwarming Clip Shows Passerby Playing Catch With Dog On Balcony

Left image shows a dog waiting to drop a ball off the balcony. Right image shows the dog releasing the ball to play catch with random pedestrian.

Living in an apartment can get boring during the day when you’re a dog. It’s a good thing for this pupper that his owners leave the balcony door open so he can sit out there and get fresh air. The dog sticks his head out through the balcony rails to alleviate his boredom. He can watch pedestrians on the busy sidewalk below and the dog even figured out a game to play with them.

The video was posted by ona.clay.ring on TikTok. They are an extremely talented jewelry maker who creates detailed and intricate replicas of animals as rings. If you want unique jewelry to commemorate your pet, seek them out on TikTok or Instagram.

Getting back to our clever pup, he has figured out that if he drops a ball from the balcony, people will pick it up and toss it back to him. We’re not sure how long he has been implementing this brilliant game of modified “fetch,” but it is hilarious.

Several of the people passing by seem to know this game. One man tosses the ball to another, urging him to play with the dog on the balcony. When a lady tries, she misses twice before getting the ball over the rail. The dog waits patiently, seeming to understand that she is trying. At one point, he drops his ball, trying to make friends with a dog. The little dog wants it, but one of the gentlemen picks it up and chucks it back upstairs.

While it isn’t the same as playing fetch in the park, this dog figured out a genius way to stay out of trouble on lonely days. Please share this if you would play with this dog.
