Teen With Stutter Melts Hearts The Moment He Starts Spell-Binding “Unchained Melody.”

Harrison Craig never imagined he’d step out onto the Voice Australia stage. Harrison has struggled with a stutter his entire life, but at 18 years old, he finally made his musical dreams a reality.

Not only did Harrison conquer his own fears with his Voice Australia audition, he also proved to others that, with determination, you can beat the odds.

The teen was an instant favorite on the show. He especially wowed the audience and judges alike with his gripping cover of ‘Unchained Melody’ by the Righteous Brothers.

From practically the first verse, Harrison had judges and audience in the palm of his hand. And it didn’t stop there; Harrison went on to win the second season of the show!

More importantly, his fame provided a platform of awareness for those who stutter. Some people are prone to mock those who stutter or make mean assumptions about their intelligence. But Harrison is proving why such assumptions are ignorant and premature — and hopefully opening minds (and ears) along the way.
