Henry Winkler Will Speak at Emerson College’s Commencement

It’s not surprising that the Happy Days alum was invited to graduation. After all, Henry Winkler’s past commencement speech at Georgetown moved many people to tears. Henry is a truly likeable guy who has an amazing ability to connect with an audience. He’s sincere, funny, wise, and happy.

“Don’t put a period on the end of a negative thought. I want to tell you that every one of you is powerful. Every one of you here—your parents, your relatives, your brothers, your sisters, your aunts, your uncles—you are all powerful,” he advised grads in 2025.

People loved Henry Winkler’s commencement speech and left sweet comments on Georgetown’s YouTube video.

“Wow… I’m a grown ass 58 year old man; but the Fonz just made me cry. You hit it out of the park Henry! Way to go,” someone wrote.

“As a Georgetown alum, I thoroughly enjoyed this commencement speech! Way to go, Fonzie!”Another person cheered.

It sounds like Henry Winkler comes from a long line of good people.

“My husband played strolling violin for your parents here, Henry. They were the sweetest, most fun people EVER. He loved them and their talk. They left a good tip for their favorite song. Henry…there’s a very good reason you’re talking at a Catholic school. You’re a peach and Jesuits are smart,” a fan shared.

We can’t wait to hear what Henry has to say this year.
