Woman Travels 2,000 Miles To Introduce Dad To His 1st Grandchild.

Life in the military requires many sacrifices. Haley McLelland lives in California with her husband, who is a U.S. Marine. The two of them welcomed their first daughter into the world this year, but due to scheduling issues and COVID-19 restrictions, they weren’t able to bring Riley home to Ohio to meet her grandparents right away.

When the little one was 10 months old, Haley finally found the moment they’d been waiting for! She hopped on a plane with Riley and flew 2,000 miles to make the most precious surprise introduction. Luckily for the world, she recorded the moment when her father came out of his house and saw the baby for the first time.

“I hope this video brightens someone’s day and spreads happiness throughout the world,” the proud mom wrote on Instagram. It definitely brightened ours! Thank you for your sacrifice and service, McLelland family!

Watch the wonderful moment when Riley meets her grandpa for the first time in the video below, and don’t forget to share this story to make someone smile.
