Grown Men Break Out Into Silly Song With Little Girl While Replacing Family’s Floor

Images show a flooring crew singing a silly song while they work replacing the flooring in a young girl's room.

Flooring installers don’t often get the label “Hero,” but we’re calling it here. This crew went above and beyond their duties and deserves the title. When Hannah Jones contracted to have her daughter’s bedroom floor redone, she got a great deal. Not only did the guys work diligently to install the floor, but they sang a silly song with her daughter.

In fairness, the bearded guy with the clipboard is Hannah’s husband. He is clearly in work mode, but his Dad mode is powerful. The rest of the crew are probably dads, too, because they know all the words of The Axolotl Song.

The Dr. Waffle song lyrics are simple and catchy. The chords are available and free if you play guitar and want to learn the song to sing around the campfire. The song is trending on TikTok and other social media sites. People seem to enjoy the soft lilt of the tune, the catchy words, and the sense of joy that the silly song instills.

The catchy tune sticks in your brain, and you’ll sing it in your sleep. Sorry about that, but it is tons better than the Baby Shark song that our earworms sang forever. If it gets too annoying, you can always sing It’s a Small World, which will knock out every other song in your head. If that doesn’t work, you can use the last resort for earworm removal: The Song That Doesn’t End.

With that, the lesser evil seems to be The Axolotl Song. Did you notice how well the flooring crew harmonizes? They might have done this singing thing before. The daughter seems to enjoy it as she joins in at the end.

Please share these happy dads singing.
