Moving on after losing a loved one is not easy, but finding ways to honor their memory can ease the grief.

Two years ago, Erin Palek’s best friend Taylor was killed in a car accident. Every year, she and her friends gather to celebrate her birthday and the anniversary of her passing, but this year, Erin’s boyfriend really went the extra mile. In a TikTok video, Erin shared how she bumped into her boyfriend during her morning walk, and he handed her a lovely bunch of yellow tulips. Back at home, she found he’d left her a note that said, “Breakfast for two,” but there was only one place set at the table.

When Erin sat down and saw Taylor’s favorite hat sitting next to her, she burst into tears. Her boyfriend had remembered it was Taylor’s birthday and found a way for Erin to spend some time with her. Instant sobbing!

“Thank you Taylor for sending me the absolute sweetest boy from the heavens,” Erin writes at the end of the video.

We’d say Taylor sent her a keeper, wouldn’t you? Watch the incredibly precious video below, and be sure to share.
