When it comes to celebrating with loved ones, when there’s a will, there’s always a way!

Steve Byrne of Syracuse, New York shared a video on Instagram that has everyone smiling. His family’s matriarch, Grandma Katie, turned 95 years old in March. Unfortunately, Katie’s birthday happened to coincide with the quarantine for anyone over the age of 60 during the COVID-19 outbreak.

What’s a family to do? How about bring all 26 of Katie’s grandchildren over to her house to sing “Happy Birthday” from the curb! The delighted look on Katie’s face tells us everything we need to know about this sweet gesture. What a beautiful way to let her know they love her — by protecting her with distance.

Share this sweet moment to give people ideas on how they can celebrate those big occasions while still maintaining social distance.
