It may have taken a little while for her to grasp the concept of two moms, but this grandma was still thrilled by her granddaughter’s pregnancy reveal! Wives Jasmin and Lauren on TikTok shared the sweetest video of themselves telling Lauren’s grandmother the big news. They even showed her a picture of the ultrasound! Although she seemed pretty excited, Grandma had a few questions about this baby’s origins.
“How did you get it?” she asked, eliciting a laugh from the happy couple.
Lauren explained to her grandma after the initial pregnancy reveal that her eggs had been placed inside Jasmin through a medical procedure. They’d also used a sperm donor to fertilize the egg. This was where, for a moment, the elderly woman became even more confused.
“You are the male?” she asked Lauren incredulously.
Finally, these moms-to-be were able to explain the process in a way the baby’s great-grandmother would understand. Once they cleared up the miscommunication, Grandma couldn’t have been happier about the pregnancy reveal! She even placed the ultrasound photo on her piano so that she could see it while she played.
Although this pregnancy reveal got off to a rocky start, Lauren’s grandma was truly thrilled for the couple. We just know that baby is going to be so loved!
