A senior dog named Goldie is making the internet say “aww!” in a cute video shared by her owners. The clip shows the golden retriever, who suffers from “doggy dementia,” playing hide and seek with her humans. However, Goldie seems to have forgotten the rules, as she’s only partially hiding around the corner. Still, she seems to be having a great time!
“She’s not aware that I can see her when she hides,” writes the dog’s owner in the TikTok video.
According to Newsweek, Goldie’s condition is also referred to as sundowners syndrome, since it causes trouble sleeping as well as cognitive issues. While her owners admit in the caption of their post that it’s hard to see their beloved pup like this, they’re “grateful she’s still with us.”
