Golden Retriever Reunites With Canine BFF After Weeks Apart In The Cutest “Hug”

Two golden retrievers are excited to see each other.

If you think golden retrievers are friendly, wait until you see how these pooches “hug” each other after spending a little time apart! One dog mom on TikTok shared a video of her two pets reuniting, and it’s the sweetest thing ever. In the clip, the woman explained that her pups Gamja and Chip were separated for a few weeks while their parents traveled. During that time, the dogs were able to FaceTime each other, but it wasn’t enough!

Finally, it was time for these two pooches to get back together. Mom caught the most incredible footage of their reunion! As soon as these golden retrievers saw each other, they ran into each other’s arms — er, paws — for something between a hug and a tackle. Of course, they also gave each other a good sniff!

In the comments section, the dogs’ owners explained a little bit more about why the siblings had to be apart for so long. Apparently, their human parents both had some traveling to do, so they each took one pooch with them. Gamja went with his mom, while Chip went with his dad. It’s so heartwarming to see how these golden retrievers greeted each other with a hug after their separation!

“Finally the whole pack,” wrote the owners on TikTok.

Commenters couldn’t get over the adorable footage of the happy dog siblings eagerly catching up after their time away from each other.

“If this isn’t my future then I don’t want it,” said one user.

“It’s the dog version of parent trap,” joked another.
