Dollar General employees in Bradenton, Florida weren’t sure what to do about their 135-pound, four-legged customer, but they sure thought he was cute!

Bentley, a large Saint Bernard, somehow managed to break through a gate and wander into the store, all without his owners noticing. Because the store’s employees didn’t want the gentle giant to have to wander around outside, alone, they let him browse around the store until closing time. Unfortunately, at that point, they had to make him leave – but the Bradenton Police Department was more than happy to help!
Body cam footage shows an officer finding Bentley in the stockroom, no doubt in search of some tasty treats. He leads him back to the front of the store where he lets his fellow officers know that the leg restraints he has aren’t big enough for him! Fortunately, because Bentley is microchipped, they were able to identify and contact his owners. Because of that, they were able to reunite that very night in the Dollar General’s parking lot.
But sweet Bentley couldn’t leave without getting a group photo with the officers who helped him, of course! Something tells us that this is a night that none of them will ever forget!
