Crowdsourcing on TikTok is a fairly common practice. People ask questions, and followers provide their answers or opinions. Jessica Cheek was curious about what funny things your dog fears, causing them to become unhinged. Jessica began the conversation in the caption. Her dog is fine with men and fine with ladders, but goes a little nuts when the man is on the ladder.

The list of things their dogs fear is so funny it’s almost insane. Carpeted stairs, limes, falling leaves, yellow lines in a parking lot, tree stumps, half-full trash bags, and the voice singing the jingle on the Burger King commercials. Some of the fears are fairly normal and shared by many of our canine friends, such as hairbrushes or loud beeps. Some dog fears we’ve encountered are hilarious, like this one about flies.
Flies? Sky raisins. They are everywhere. How does a dog who is afraid of flies even manage to exist? The second dog is only afraid of them inside the house. That’s just weird.
Another weird fear is single slices of bread. A boxer disliked seeing a single slice of bread. The poster didn’t elaborate whether sandwiches were OK. Nor did they say what kind of bread.
In a comment under that post, another boxer owner stated their pooch was afraid of cooked clamshells and elevators. The elevator is understandable. Even with the doors closed, they are noisy. If you’re riding them, the motion can be odd.
