“Four-Legged Bandit” Is Rescued From Dumpster Full Of Trash.

A raccoon had to be rescued from a dumpster.

One raccoon found out the hard way that you really can have too much of a good thing! Authorities from the Port Moody Police Department in British Columbia were tasked with an unusual rescue mission when the “four-legged bandit” was heard crying for help. Apparently, the critter had crawled into a too-large dumpster and couldn’t find a way out! The police department posted footage of the rescue on Facebook.

“Officers located the crying critter in a large receptacle and used a 2×4 as a ramp to help it escape from the bin,” reads the caption.

Once the raccoon climbed up the board, police determined that the creature was “uninjured.” Hopefully the animal has learned their lesson about biting off more trash than they can chew!
