Forget A Moose, This Connecticut Animal Shelter Has Sheep On The Loose!

A flock of sheep have escaped from an animal shelter and are now loose.

A Connecticut animal shelter has been counting sheep, and it turns out they’ve lost a few! Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter recently put out a warning to the North Branford area that there’s a flock of stray sheep on the loose. Apparently, the animals escaped their pen. The organization’s Facebook post urges citizens to report any sightings.

So far, the shelter hasn’t added any updates to their original post, which they shared two days ago, although several eagle-eyed commenters have mentioned possible locations of the runaways. Drivers are especially encouraged to be vigilant, as the flock could venture onto the road and cause an accident. It’s recommended that any motorists near Middletown Ave take it slow!
