When AK helped out a man who was selling flowers, he was able to see first-hand the ripple affect his kindness had on his community!
With so many flowers to choose from, he asked the seller, Manuel, if he’d been able to sell many bouquets that day. His answer was, unfortunately, “no.” Any worry Manuel may have had, however, washed away in an instant when AK asked how much the rest of his flowers cost… so he could buy them!
“You’re going to buy all of them?” Manuel asked in disbelief.
AK’s total ended up being $895, but he decided to go ahead and give him $1,000 instead.
“Go home my friend,” AK told him. “Rest with your family.”
As tempting as that may have sounded, Manuel felt too inspired by AK’s kindness to simply go about his day. Instead, he asked if he could join him and his friends as they continued to find ways to uplift others. Together, they gave away lots of flowers to women who were absolutely floored by such a sweet, unexpected gift. Best of all, they did it right around Mother’s Day!
